Mk1 grille Mod

I'm thinking of doing this next to motor but having checked www.fordwiki.co.uk/index.php/Ghia_Grille_Mod_-_Mk1 the grill shown, came with the mesh...

Any ideas what mesh is being used for this mod? And one last thing ... that wierd 'straight line' bit in the middle of my grill.. will that come out?

cut the middle bar out.

rsap mesh is very rigid and high quality. :)

the weave in the rsap mesh may look too big for the mk1 grill, i have some on a spare grill in the garage and it doesnt look quite right.

most people tend to use a finer/denser mesh, like the stuff which comes with the mk1 prima racing grills.
