right guys ya ready?

I unlock the car and open the door and immediately there is a ticking from behind the dash (like indicators on or something but they arent)and then after about 10 - 15 seconds it stops. Then when i turn on ignition the red light in the clock stays on and wont go off. and stays on when the car starts. Then when i tried to program the i r key to the car it wont work. any ideas because its slowly annoying me now!

Have u checked the 20A fuse in the fuse box under the dash next to the glove box? My alarm light was doing the same I relplaced a blown fuse and that fixed it, although I suspect that the flash sequence indicates what the problem is - much like the airbag warning lights - if you knew what the sequence meant.

yeah i checked the fuses and there all fine. its starting get slightly annoying now!
