hi all, my mates mk2 air bag light is on all the time,it dosent flash (the 4 times )it just stays on all the time.
any1 have any ideas as to what it may be??

No power to the airbag components, fuse blown? or the bag has deployed.

Had the same on mine, I had to swap the Airbag brain.

As said above a constantly lit airbag warning light on the MK2 is a supply voltage or airbag module fault, so if the 7.5 Amp fuse No38 in the fusebox is ok then you are looking at a bad connection or a faulty airbag module.

seatbelt pretensioners normally, the yellow plugs beneath both seats may have become loose or need a clean, leave ign off for 20-30 mins before doing them to discharge the stored charge from the system m8.

i stuck a couple of cable ties around mine when i did em to stop them coming apart again.
