I have a slight problem starting my TD, i have changed the heater plugs, however there is no current going to the plugs, i have checked this by using a volt meter, i placed the volt meter negative onto the negative battery pole, and the positive volt meter terminal onto the glow plug wire, however it does not come up with any voltage. I removed the relay and cheked the wires going to the relay, one is a constant live and one is a switched live. HAVE I CHECKED THE VOLTAGE GOING TO HEATER PLUGS CORRECTLY? is the relay fooked? If so has anybody got one? Any help would be greatful! :thankyousign:

That should have got you the right result if it was working.

To test the relay put 12v across the two small pins and you should hear it click. Connect your meter (in resistance mode) across the two large connectors it should read a short circuit (i.e. 0 ohms). If it does not it is probably buggered and you should get a replacement.

Here are some picys of the circuit diagrams that might help
