can any1 help me please?,
i am posting this for someone else.
is changing the discs & pads the same procedure for the rear as it is for the front,is there any different size nuts/bolts that are on the rear that are not on the front.
is a 7mm allen key still used & 15mm socket to remove caliper bracket??
mine has rear drums so i don't have a clue :confused:

is the mk3 (workshop guide)the same as mk2??

From memory, and it is a while since I did mine, I think the rear allen bolts and brackets are the same size as the fronts. You will need to screw the pistons back in on the back whereas the fronts just push in if my memory serves me right. A pair of long nose pliers will do it, no need to go and buy the fancy special tool!

No idea on the workshop guide, sorry.

mk1 are different size on the rear on the v6 anyway

on mine estate i've got the same 50 torx, just bought disks and pads now i'v got the pads only, the bolts are mission impossible for a few weeks or till mot
