Can anyone confirm the spanner/socket size that's needed to remove the Brake caliper carriers from a Mk3 Mondy. On Mk1/Mk2s, a 15mm is needed.

Im sure its the same, I know they are on mine. I know the heads of the bolts that hold the caliper to the carrier are 13mm

Cheers mate.... 15mm to remove the carriers from the hubs, and 13mm to separate the calipers from the carriers :L :L :L

ah so theyre using bolts instead of 7mm alen key......good show :L

And they dont use that stupid spring either, Pads are so much quicker and easier to change

yeah only prob with pads on some occasions is holding thats where shoes are usually better but have no choice with mk3's lol
