Have just noticed rust starting on the bottom seams of my MK3 rear doors.

Is this covered by a TSB/recall please or do I have to negoiate with my local Ford stealer ??

Speak to ford at your local dealer straight away and get them on the case
Should be covered by the corrosion warranty

Hi the rust on your door is covered under fords 12 yes! 12 year perforation warranty but your bodywork book must be up to date with its checks or ford will try to worm there way out of fixing it.

Just had my mk3 fixed 2 weeks ago and now its ok so get in touch with your ford dealer and best of luck.

They may say because it has not had its body checks, that they have not had a chance to look at it.They will say they could have found it ealier

Either way thay should in my opinion still repair it free of charge
If you speak to customer services at Ford UK first and explain that you and your family have always had fords and that this is spoiling the years of great service you have had then they make think twice about turning you down
