this is my Sisters car - 52 plate MK3 Mondeo 2.0 TDCI Diesel

they have bought it recently and heres whats happening to it.....

the Heater has only been blowing Hot air now and again even though the controls have been set on Hot Permanantley

also the Air Con switch Lights up by itself - (not all the time, just sometimes)

also she says that when she turns the car off she hears a "Bubbling Noise - like bubbling water" inside the car and reckons its coming from infront of the dash behind the stereo etc

this has been happening for 5days or so

Yesterday they have put antifreeze/coolant in and Today they have been out in the car and its almost overheated (temp up right near the Red)

has any otehr MK3 Diesel owners experienced this?

Nope, not heard of this before.

But, this is normal, mine does this

Sounds like there is an air lock in the coolant circuit which is causing the overheating or the water pump is messing up.

The bubbling noise could either be the engine coolant or the aircon gas. Difficult to know from this distance which one

the aircon light wil lcome on with the heater set to the screen its supposed to be so it clears the screen quicker but i just wack it off when isee it on.
