My mrs sister has a rattle from her mk3 when she pulls off, To me it sound like the release bearing, gear box or even an engine mount, Has anyone else come across this?

I had this, when parked up, drop the clutch half way, if it starts then as well, then it will be the thrust bearing or the clutch.

When changing, make sure the clutch, flywheel and starter are all done at the same time
