Standard ST TDCi springs may actually lift car, when my MK3 was new back end looked more like a 4x4. If you can find a set of Eibach springs they work really well on this model.

Thanks for the advice Peter. That's exactly the 'problem' I've got.

I've had to replace the springs over the last couple of years and using standard ones makes it look, as you say, like a 4x4. I was under the impression that ST springs were lower than standard, but maybe not from what you're saying?
