Wowzers.

Ckin Awesome car now!..

Euro Car Parts Local branch fitted me out with a recon exchange subframe for £80! Its a real Ford Item freshly powder coated with new bushes in it!

Removed old one, fitted new one just inside 2.75hrs, took it for a 4 wheel full 3D Laser Alignment, car drivers like a new vehicle. And .. at 48K Mileage, I aint kidding. Aside from slight occassional miss due to whatever is causing that LOL>.. However..

Handling superb, very quiet and vibe free.

I'd seriously recommend one of these to "family" drivers who want minimal vibes and road noise. The handling is obviously far far sharper than before, but i cant compare it to a polybush re-do job, cos I never drove one! LOL..

Highly Recommended low cost, low time method.

4 wheel alignment cost me £60 trade. And makes a hell of a diff.
I would say that your "Miss" is the "Coil Pack" 4 torx screws and a clip easy to fit. They tend to be replaced on Fords at about 50k miles. Cheap fix.

I had to replace my subframe after it got mashed when I took out a badger last year. Was 50 notes from a scrapper.
Sounds great.

There's a scrapyard close by that has 2 whole subframes with complete suspension and brakes attached that i was thinking of buying for cheap, just to have lying around when stuff get's nasty on my car.

i can confirm poly bush is better though ive had my subframe poly bushed for 55k now. can pick them uo for 30-40 quid now on ebay
