Well after much cursing and swearing i finally got the new head unit in this morning ... Now realised how limited the original speakers are   so thats next on the list but well pleased with the head unit though even though it took several readings of the manual to connect the phone to it lol .. volt meter was handy as i realised my battery was sinking low so you can see before and after with the engine running ,, sorry about duff pics only i was freezing and coulnt stop shaking lol ;)

wasnt too bad ;) if you go to halfrauds its £399 and retail is £499 but i got it for the princely sum of £249.99 :) :) needed a new head unit and also bluetooth phone kit so i was looking at the parrot ones and thought hang on if i buy one of those its about £130 so that means really ive only paid £120 for the head unit :) because its totally hands free with auto answer and sound through the front two speakers and seperate mic why buy seperates .. you can also send your address book over to the head unit if required but i aint figured out that bit yet ;) well chuffed though lol here a pic of where i put the mic .. comes with a sun visor mount but decided to do it neater ;)

They do a couple of versions of this model and one is the 55 as apposed to the 75 like i have but its cheaper to buy ( 174 on GD's site above ) but very likely similar internals especially for the BT
