Hi Guys,

I only have one key, so need a couple more.

I have seen some for sale but with different part numbers?

Whats the difference? Mine is 98AG15K601AC, but I have seen them ending AA and AD ???

Is it a different transponder or board?

A friend works at ford so I can get them re-programmed but will these other keys take the programming?

because you only have one key you need a specialist locksmith or
main dealer to program new ones to your car.

You need 2 unique /working keys to add and remove keys from the system.

Not sure about the codes but as long as its for a UK MK3 mondeo it will be OK.

I bought a jag flip key, Just took it to a key cutters who charged me £2. Programmed
myself as i already had 2 keys. Although one was a bit dodgy.

Yeah I know about the programming issue, but I have a friend at Ford who can do that for me in exchange for a few beer tokens. so, I need 2 keys, I'll get new blades cut, and he can programme the keys.

I just need to know which key to buy..

Cheers

MK2 fobs look the same but use a different chip.
