Hi can anyone please tell me where the on board diagnostic plug is on a mk3 facelift 115tdci.

I also need a obd2 com port/usb cable any one know a good supplier?
And finally do any meggers used the diagnostic software for sale on ebay sites if so is it easy to use and is it good quality. thanks :L

the diagnostinc software for sale on ebay USUALLY is just cheap generic freeware crap that they are trying to make a buck on

The plug is down by your feet under the dash on the driver side. Just about the gas pedal, just pull down.

A generic code reader from eBay won't help you with a TDCi unless it is post 2004 - diesel's were not required to be compatible until 2004.

A specialist code reader is required for the TDCi.
