Since owning my 2.0 TDCI the car always idled around 850rpm at stand still. Recently though sometimes when i come to a stop the revs can be at 750rpm or 850.
Is this normal or is something wrong or going to go wrong?
It is isn't unusual. A software update for the pcm (Power Control Module / ECU) can solve this - it did for me. It also solved a warm start issue that you may have noticed (slow to 'catch' properly when warm).
Thanks for that ojobson - Luckily i don't have a warm start issue, but i do have a lot of noticeable smoke when i boot it at night :}
