Hello to everyone.
I am the owner of Ford Focus mk2, 2006, 1.6 tdci 90hp, HHDA.
I wan to change the Oil temparature sensor, but I cant find where is it.
I get an error P0195, P0196, related with Oil temparature sensor.
As a first step I want to install a new sensor. I bought one but I can not find the
right place.
Could you please help me???
Thanks in advance

What did you use to read the fault code? P0195 could be the crank sensor or fuel pressure fault.

Whats the part number for the temperature sensor? I cannot find an oil temperature sensor listed for that engine?

I use an OBD2 scan tool called "VgateScan". And I connect it with Android app "Car Scanner".
Here are the errors:
P0195
Raw code: 0195
ECU: Engine control unit
Status: Pending fault present during this driving cycle, Validated and stored in non volatile memory
OBDII: Engine oil temperature (EOT) sensor - circuit malfunction
Ford: Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Circuit Malfunction

P0196
Raw code: 0196
ECU: Engine control unit
Status: Pending fault present, Validated and stored in non volatile memory
OBDII: Engine oil temperature (EOT) sensor - range/performance problem
Ford: Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Range/Performance

This is what I bought:

That appears to be a coolant temperature sensor not an oil sensor. As sooon as I select Ford Focus that
part number gets removed from the compatible list.

It seems you are right. But why I have the error of oil temperature sensor. It seems like this motor has not an oil temperature sensor.
By the way, I change the coolant temperature sensor , before one week, but the error come again.

I think your code reader maybe giving generic codes, P0195 can be a crank sensor or fuel
pressure warning also.
