Outside air temerature lights

Hi in the two years ive owned my mondeo the ice warning light and frost warning light have always stayed on on the dashboard also the temperature sensor does not show the temperature. Im sure that they are both connected issues. Could anybody give me an indication of what is causing this?

replace the sensor, Behind or below the drivers side headlight/ foglight area i think.
