Having just traded my Mk2 for a 2002 Mk3 Ghia, I've found an odd problem.
If the car is locked from the driver's side, the passenger cannot unlock or open the passenger door; driver has to unlock his side first.
If the doors are not locked, the passenger can lock, unlock and open her door fine, but locking her door does not lock the whole car.
Is this normal? Is there a way to allow the passenger to open her door?
