Did the install of the above today, very easy
to do,everthing swopped over perfectly.
Used the cable adaptors that Gingagismo told me
about,so no cutting of the Ford speaker plugs.
Very happy with the quality of the sound,
Classic FM never sounded better,
must say thanks to JackSTmondeo, for suppling
them at a very good price. :L

Have you tied the wires down in hte doors mate?
If not, I would soon before you drop the windows and pull the plugs off.

Did the crimps on the wires fit on the speakers for you or did you solder the wires you got with the speakers onto the plugs?

I read your warming post, earlier,so i cable tied
the wires to the hole that you can see in the btm of the enclosure opening, pic's 2,and 3.

The adaptors fitted on ok,the only thing i did was to close up the small connectors as they were
a bit loose, when i tried them on the speakers.

Other than that nice mod to do with a pleasant
outcome,Tiri-te-Kanawa, never sounded better.

That little eyelet loop in the metal on the left of the hole? That's where mine are tied to :L

The sound is a marked improvement isn't it? Are you still using the original H/U or have you gone aftermarket?

Good little mod aint it? :L

Got the Ford H/U out as soon as i got the car,
last Feb,and put my Kenwood 7021 in so this is what is driving the speakers, now.
It is an improvement over what Ford put in,i also
like being able see the blue colour of the speakers,i think someone else said that too who
had done the same swop.
Yep money well spent. :L
