Got two code PO420 and PO400. The PO400 says pending? Can I clean the egr?
I also get a slight miss on acceleration my swirl flaps of death are disconnected don't know if that's anything to do with it.
This car is making me very poor but I've spent that much on it I'm reluctant to set fire to it. Rear discs and pads, rear wheel bearing, piston rings, new exhaust valve (big hole in it), Front wheel bearing, Front drive shaft soon I'll have a nearly new 2005 Mondeo.
When the piston rings went it was the oil wipe and the car blew smoke like a red arrow so I'm thinking the cat is destroyed. I do all the work myself so I'm not paying labour but should I buy matches or parts?
