Hello,

I have had a blanking plate with a hole in my Mondeo tdci 130, i recently found out that it is a Euro 3 so I can use a full blanking plate...

This evening I swapped the blanking plate with a hole to one without a hole.

I took the car for a long drive, stopped a couple of times, turned the car on and off..

Ever since the EGR has been blanked I have had hesitation when accelerating, when below 2500rpm, when above this and i accelerate it doesn't hesitate and feels faster than it was previously.

I think i'm going to put the one with the hole back on as I don't know what else to do.. Please help or suggest what could be the problem, it was fine before the full EGR blank.

:-(

then put the one with the hole in back in . . . the egr blank is usually only recommended to test the egr anyway . one with a hole will probably act like there is no blank in the egr anyway so the egr on your motor is probably working fine anyway ..s
