Hello folks,

I was about to give up on trying to get the car started as i've tried all the advice and tests and still no luck, my basic fault code reader did'nt throw out any faults so i invested in a mobytec type reader, it is quite impressive and has a good few features, anyway it came back with fault code PO235 turbo boost sensor A circuit and P180 fuel temp sensor A circuit, i'm not sure where the turbo boost sensor is, can anyone help with the location please?, i'm hoping that this is the main reason it's not starting but i'll change both sensors that showed up if i can get them asap. The fuel injector codes were all in order, i was hoping that they might have needed recoding and fixed the fault but it was'nt the case. I'm now at the last couple of items left to try or it will be sold to the highest bidder!
Thanks again to everyone that's helped me so far,
regards...Martin.

Is the turbo boost sensor the same as the MAP (Manifold air pressure or something.. Think it measures the air pressure in the inlet manifold - but I could be wrong)?
maf sensor is on the pipe at the front off the car on the drivers side front

the feul temp sensor is on the back of the high pressure pump it a green or blue plug ( i think )

Maf(mass air flow) is next to air filter .

Map (manifold absolute pressure) sensor is in boost pipe at front bottom drivers side next to intercooler.

just remember that the Map sensor wouldnt be in none boosted air supply, but the Maf is.

Map in boost pipe
maf in air supply pipe.
Cheers guys for the help, so it sounds like the turbo boost sensor is also known as the map sensor, i've been looking around the turbo unit, the haynes manual does not mention the turbo boost sensor.
Thanks folks, much appreciated,
regards...Martin.

heres cheeky......

have you got breakdown cover with homestart?

the AA/RAC have the diagnostics onboard, if they came you should get an answer, if its a simple fix (with a part if needed) they will get you running

dont mention youve been "fiddling" say the fault just started after it stood 2 weeks.
