I have managed to get hold of all the parts to do a disc conversion on my Mk1 hatch. However the secondary hand brake cables will need replacing, I have priced these up at ford about £45 the pair. The question is are the cables from a saloon going to fit. As far as I can tell the only Mk1's with disks were the 2.5 version. Or will a Mk2 hatch handbrake cables fit? Also how about the rear brake pipes? will these need to be changed as well?

You need the V6 cables, Saloon and hatch are the same, and im sure mk1 and 2 cables are the same too, About £20 each from a car spares shop, You also need the V6 flexi's
