well my first idea would be to check the roof bar mounting hole under the plastic cover in the roof gutter, there's a hole that the roof bars bolt to but its just bunged with goo and painted over, could be that its failed and is letting water straight through and its then finding its way down to the seat belt.
REAR NEARSIDE SEATBELT SOAKING WET
I have an 06 Mondeo ST TDCI.
Whilst strapping the kids in the car i discovered the rear nearside Seatbelt was soaking wet when I pulled it out of the reel. I have removed some of the headlining and it is wet inside at the rear nearside pillar but I cannot find from where.
It has been raining pretty heavy but nowhere else in the car seems wet.
Has anyone had similar issues?
