Releasing IMRC Circuit Board

Need some serious help or I'm gonna kill someone ! lol

I've disconnected my IMRC as I want to do the resistor change but I'll be damned if i can free up the multiplug connection from the case so I can access the circuit board. Its completely covered in this amber glue/sealant stuff and it won't budge.

I've tried cutting it through it with a knife and trying to scratch the sealant out but I'm completely stuck .... and managed to stab myself in the hand with the knife !

Am I going about it the right way ?

Use a small flat blade screwdriver and take your time :)
Think i'll have a cuppa, calm down and try again ...

I will not be defeated !!! lol

Well after a bit of bother and a few taps with a hammer I managed to release the multiplug and now have the guts of the IMRC out.

Next job is to replace the resistor, then check for dry joints and wire up the led wire :woot:
