I just spent a knuckle cutting twenty minutes trying to work out how to remove the bonnet alarm switch without resorting to brute force and breaking it...but can't suss it out. It must be easy...any clues please peeps?

Is it a MK2 or MK3.On the MK 3 the switch is part of the catch, you have to replace the hole lot, on the MK2, Get a little screw driver, and looking down on it, either side of the switch is a little springy strip of metal, push the metal strips in, and the switch literaly falls out, should take about 10 seconds.

That's what I thought. (It's a Mk 2) But the more I buggered about with those metal clips, the more frustrated I became cos nothing happened. I'll have another go tomorrow.
