Is it possible to remove the tinit film on windows?

I think this is more a DIY job on my mates Escort (previous owner) its too dark for him and he wants to change it.

Thanks

Use an Haidryer..I did 'cos I got nicked and had to take me front ones off within 14 days...cost me a £30 fine too :(

Get someone to warm it up from the outside an you pull it off s.l.o.w.l.y, and yes there will be glue left behind, I used alsorts to get it off, meths, window cleaner and a sharp stanley knife blade to get it all of..
