When selecting reverse and letting go of the stick it sum times goes out and i have to grab hold of the stick and give it a gentle pull to keep the lights on.

It does work but to me seems light it just doesnt want to sit properly to allow the circuit to be made to whack the lights on.

Gear never pops out or owt so im taking an uneducated guess and thinking along the lines of the light sensor?

Any ideas??

my switch was playing games some times ago. i tryed everything, checking it drying it oiling it, when was out was working fine but in place not. so the switch is on the top of the gearbox, in the front of the gearchance mechanism, under the battery next to the gearbox mounting. it is screwed with a connector with 3 wires. buy new from ford, replace it and forget about it. the price i think was j7-8.
