I have a 2.5 v6 duratec on a 2000 plate and have the problem the revs sticking on when i change gear. sometimes the revs fall ok. It seems a bit half and half. The revs will only fall when the car slows down if you get my drift, like its picking up the speed sensor or something. I had something similar and changed the CTS ( solus diagnosed ) but now i have this. Any ideas ??

It's not throttle hang as it actually increases in revs. also it doesn't do it all the time. About half and half
