Well at least i shook your hand simon :} There was some good lads there from mondeo owners and ford focus owners that i was speaking to, Didnt you have your car on the rollers?Simonty said:I didn't talk to many as people were in groups and I thought they must be from another forum :}
Aye, that be me.Simonty said:Nice one, is that you in the second to last pic with the thumb up?
I didn't talk to many as people were in groups and I thought they must be from another forum :}
I'll probably be the one acting like a loon. :}Simonty said:Splop - I'll look out for you next time![]()
Think when you pulled up in your Mk1 V6 gave it away :} Sounded nice though when you was leaving :LSimonty said:Carl - thanks for introducing yourself, not many did. How did you know I was me though? :}
Is it sorted now ?Simonty said:Ahh yes, the only mk1 there. I drove away in a girly huff as mine couldn't be sorted on the day :}
Glad its all sorted told he would. He's a top guy thats why have no hesitation recommending him and sending work his way.Simonty said:Yeh, he sorted it this afternoon before my drive back to Sheffield. Seems to be using less fuel and is much smoother and more responsive. The transition at 3800rpms is less hesitant now, which is nice.
Tuner reckons it's probably pushing 180-190bhp with those mods.
Obviously it was overfuelling really badly, he said the injectors were almost maxed out!
I supply him with all that, the exhausts etc hanging up are mine, and the manifolds etc on the walls as well as more. Its a smart place, no fly by night shop.Simonty said:Nice guy he is and wow, Redbitz has some shiny things for sale!
Aint been down for a week or so gotta see him Weds, know he hsas worked on a few Ferraris in the past, so whats there now?Simonty said:Great stuff. Was nice how sincere he was about tuning a beaten up old rep-mobile when they were working on some exotic red super-car in the back :}
