Changed my Sat Nav SD card for a later version and although it appears to be showing new roads which weren't
there on the original, nothing appears to have changed on version/part numbers?
Is there something I need to do to update or is a change of SD card enough?

That card looks like it's for the touchcreen version? Mine is the Sync1/MFD and these are the original and the new SD card.-- Original in the case

Found the answer on an obscure youtube video. Insert new card and it will prompt for which country - which it did - and after that new maps are being used.
