I just got a SATC module on ebay. I want to install the module keeping cost low. Therefore I plan to use my own sensors where possible.
Can anybody tell me what kind of NTC resistors the SATC uses? I read in the Ford TIS that it's both NTC resistors the module uses.
Also, where can I find a PWM module (Relay) for the SATC module to replace the original resistors. I guess it's just a couple of FET transistors inside the module. Therefore I think it's too expensive to pay >100£ for the original device.
Can anybody explain the extra motor/flap installion that must be done? I think my mondeo already has a motor driven flap for adjusting heat/cold air. Do I need an additional flap as well?
