Sealant

I have just bought myself a new inlet manifold from Fords for my MK2 td, I also bought a new gasket, should I use sealant in conjunction with the gasket or not, thanks in advance, Sean.

i would say not!

the gasket should be squashed causing its own seal!

take a pic before and after please!

Do you want pics of the actual inlet manifold or the engine with the manifold removed.

nah its ok i dont know what i was typing at the time.

i was up for 38 hours straight sorry about that.

but still no you will not need any sealant...
