when changing the seats, can the seat belt,(the part that is on the seat)come off and go on to the new seats,or does the seat frame have to be changed?.i dont want to do that as my new drivers seat is fully electric and my old one is not.

i would have thought it would be detachable , it wouldnt make sense to me to have to buy a new seat because of a knackered seatbelt

When you remove the seat, you have to detach the anchor point on the belt from the seat. Just reattach it to the new seat.

yeah its a torx i think T50 or 55 cant remember but it is tight. you might want to plug in the elec seat before fitting it as you may need to move it to bolt the seatbelt on.
