Just had 2x5L of Shell Helix Professional Ultra 0w-30 AF-L delivered for £65 from carparts4less (eurocarparts sister brand).

Meets the Ford WSS-M2C950-A spec for the Mk5 Mondeo and cheaper than Castrol's offering.

The only other oil at a similar price is from Total. For some reason I thought Shell would be better as shell claim it is a true group IV fully synthetic oil - I know Castrol Magnatec has often sold Group III oil as fully synth, which it isn't really. (I know the right Castrol oil meets the ford spec, but I've often thought the price of Castrol just reflects the money they spent on marketing).

I usually keep my eye on Tesco Stores prices.

Very often they do the latest Castrol Magnatec stop/start in 2 litre containers at half price - £9.00, so you get 6 litres for £27.00 - spot on for the 2 litre ecoboost which takes a tad under 6 litres

I usually post up on here when its available
