YES, after MK1, MK2, 3xMK3 & MK4.5, finally came the turn to try MK5.

Amazing how much better the driving pleasure changes every time & now that you are sitting & talking with your car. :biggrin:

Now I have to look through this whole thread (as I did with MK3 & Mk4) to see your pictures & find things I need to change/update.

Maybe it will be difficult, because this MK5 is already almost perfect.

The one that became my choice: ST Line, Diesel, 180HP, automatic transmission (my first private car with automatic) works great.

I'm really happy with my Mk4.5 & could not sell it, my wife was allowed to drive the new home ;)

Back in a Mk5 after a return to a Mk4.5 following a disappointing first outing a Mk5. This one is a 2018 Titanium Auto, impressed so far, it has the power tailgate which I didn't think I'd like but I'm warming to it.

Not long we had the St-Line 180HP, both MK4.5 & MK5 were sold.
The choice was a new MK5 St-Line 190HP 8Speed (instead of having 2 cars). 4 months delivery, it was a long wait. It is built in Spain.
The original St-Line 18" rims have been replaced with mine 19", it got new 245/40/19 Dunlop SportMaxx RT2 😄

This is something the car can not be ordered with from the factory, but our Ford dealer has fitted. It works perfectly & can usually not be seen without you lying under the car, that there is a cut in the diffuser.
Advantages/disadvantages: Yes there is a cut in the diffuser, but the joy is greater, especially when the power plug for the trailer has to be put on without crawling under the car.
