sluggish

Did you use a proper Ford fuel filter? I replaced mine not so long a go and used a cheapish one and it fooked the car up. Went into limp mode. I was told that some don't have a good enough flow rate as the proper Ford ones.

Also when mine tends to seem a bit sluggish I use some Wyns injector cleaner in with a full tank, always seems to bring it back to its best and sounds a bit healthier too. Also brings the mpg up a bit.

Although 80miles to £20 does seem rather low. Is that town drivng, stop start etc?

driving is mixture of town and dual carrage way drining . il give sum injector cleaner ago . cheers

I had same problem - I had a cracked intercooler hose on my 2.0 tdci. Could be similar prob? cost me £100 ish from ford including injector recoding

Ford make very little of whats on a Ford car, Lucas alternator, Borg/beck Clutch, etc, exhausts from a supplier, Mintex pads....etc,etc.

Ford make a shell and put it together from parts bought in

A mate in the trade bought a genuine Cosworth Rs500 cambelt for his own car, took it back to fit, it was the same he coulda bought £20 cheaper from his trade suppliers

last fill 537 miles £58 = 185 miles / £20?

Original fuel filters are Bosch, Euro Car Parts sell Bosch filters but without the Ford logo on them
