I had the same problems with mine, so I took it out and replaced it with an Alpine USB ready unit and hey presto......no more problems.
On a serious note, press and hold eject until it shows "ejecting all" or something similar. It should then eject everything (if you have the 6 disc unit).
The Sony units are known for hating copied discs (due to their thickness), so that might be the problem.
IMHO, they are crap units that are priced far to high to replace if/when they go wrong.
