[Fatty fat fat fat]

The driver's door speaker on my Mk2 cuts out intermittently - I assume it is just a loose connection. How do I get at the speaker ?, do I have to remove the whole door card or is there a way of just removing the speaker grille ?

You have to remove the whole door card i'm afraid. If you have a 7000 series stereo, I beleive there was a problem with cutting out but cant remember off the top of my head why!

Sod that then, it can just stay broke.

Every little job I try to do turns out to be a right PITA.

Door cards are piece of cake matey, but would be surprised if its loose connection on standard wiring n speakers as they're tight as hell normally!
