Evening all

My new head unit has teh function where as you go faster, the volume slightly increases. Does anyone know if the early mk3s have the wire for this so I can use this function.

The car had the ford 6000 cd player in before :L

Had an Aiwa unit years ago and it had this function, it used the noise level inside the car to know when to increase the volume.

Found it very useful as thehescort I had at the time was not the quietest.

Ah, I'll have to read the manual about that :L

I think it mite have said it uses cabin noise but just assumed it was linked to the speed sensor.

I have it fairly loud anyway so it probs wouldn't really make much difference :}

edit..... just read the manual and you were right, it is built in :L
