Hullo!

Like the title says, I get a squeaking sound when starting. It's only once every so often I hear it and only if the engine, umm 'staggers' a little when starting. Oh, also if I near stall it and it jumps back into action just before cutting out.

I'm sure I've seen on here mentions of the DMF/Clutch needing replaced. Any ideas?

It's a 2004 model with 25k on the clock. Warranty up in feb so I want all niggley/expensive things fixed before then :L

Im hoping it the belt as mine does it too doesnt bother me though till it breaks

mine does it too, same here, when it breaks, i'll fix it! and if mine breaks first i'll tell you what broke! lol

Both of my TDCi's have done it when it's cold and damp - its just a slight slip of the belt and nothing worth worrying about.

Flywheel noise usually occurs when you switch off.
