st24 rear exhaust manifold...how hard

Fianlly after aload of umming and arring (and £300 quids worth of labour) they did the rear gaskets and swopped the rear manifold over (cheers fred) its chuffing out the headgasket :mad: so shes being broken down now to fund bits for the next st24 - oh well thats how she goes :)

sorry to hear that fella i knew it was the headgasket all along why dont you transplant it or fix the gasket problem
To be honest I ran out of reddies, but I picked up a nice S reg steel blue 24 for £550 with 30k less miles and it looks like this one has been pampered quite a bit (only 4th reg'd owner).

After all the messing about they wanted £5-600 to do the headgasket so Id rather have gone for the next one than carried on throwing money at a 118k+
car. Shame tho as the paintwork was immaculate, they way she rolls i guess - Like my Dad said 'If its got t*ts or tyres ill cost you money and cause you grief' :}

oh i see its another ticking mondie that the gargage says is the manifold when it really isnt probs a good job you didnt go fords as they would have told you what it really is and gave you a quote that would have nocked you for six
