The Eibach retrofit from standard appears to be the lowest setup at 90mm front & 95mm rear.
Haven't had any surprises with speed bumps yet.

I cant find that dam thread with all figures in.
IIRC, drop from std to OEM sports is between 20 & 25mm. Drop from std to eibach is between 30 & 35mm

Does anyone on here have the sports suspension with 19'' alloys that can comment on the ride??

I've just put a deposit down on one, moving from a MK3 Tit X Focus on 17'' alloys - I'm worried it might be to firm....

My current one does not have it (yet)but I did drive my dealers diesel with powershift and sports susp for a week and the only thing that did not suit me was the diesel (sorry). I liked the susp but I did come from a Titanium X Sport.
The Mondeo OEM sports susp is nowhere near as firm as say a BMW 528 M Sport.
I am sure the factory OEM Sports Susp will be fine. It is not "hard" like non genuine kits may/can be

I have no problems with 19's and sports suspension. I find it smooth, not harsh at all. Mind you my last car was the Focus ST ????

Yes, I just changed springs as when I fitted them back in August the shocks were not available.

Eibach part number E10-35-030-05-22

£227 inc delivery from Germany

http://www.talkford.com/community/topic/295817-fitting-eibach-sports-springs-on-mk5-estate/

Today I had 4 adults and 6 cases of lager in the boot and a full tank of fuel and for the first time it scuffed a speed bump.. nothing serious just thought I'd mention it.
Thanks for the info.

So knowing what you know now, having run it since August, would you rather have done the dampers too? Would you change them now?

D4zzl3r, for most of my driving the setup is ok for me, not to firm and no longer wallowy on the bends. So to answer your question if I still have the car in the spring I might be tempted to upgrade the shocks.
