Hi all 
I have a 96 1.8 mondeo verona with a startup problem.
When i start when the engines hot, the revs go up to about 1500 then drop back under 1000 then make there way down to 0. If i have my boot on the throttle and move off drive for a while the engine will idle normally when i stop.
What would cause this?
