starts and then cuts out

my car sometime will start and then cut out,it may do this 2 or 3 times and then it will drive great,

i have been told it could be the starter??

or i have been told it could be the egr value????

anybody got any ideas???

could be your cam sensor, its def not the egr or starter. what year car, engine size. more details the more we an help

sorry mate,its a 2005 05,its the 130 bhp tdci engine,his the cam sensor easy to change or do ford have to do it?????
