Hey all, just wondering if its a common thing but when i drive my car the throttle feels "sticky" i find it very annoying.
I'm planning to try and remove the cable and pour some 3-1 oil down it like i use to do to my motorbike throttle cables. dose this sound like the right thing to do?
it could be your butterfly valve on the side of the intake mainfold , i had the same problem ..
i cleaned up mine and worked a teat after that . hope this helps
I bet the oil would help but also check it's not trapped and pinched anywhere. My idle revs were off the chart after rebuilding some of my engine due to the cable being routed badly, even though it looked fine.
