Most front bushes, links and joints replaced. Drives very well now but still not resolved the clunk when gear selected and raising clutch pedal. Any thoughts.
dodgy slave cyliner maybe, assuming your clutch is hydraulic. depending what year your mondy is. i have just forked out a fortune cos my slave failed altogether. new clutch and slave cylinder.
Check your gearbox mounts (roll restrictors) aren't knackered, the rear one is obvious and the front is a bit more concealed near the radiator undertray. They are notorious for going, an easy cheap fix is to fill them with polyurethane.
Thanks for replies. I know clutch needs doing soon which will include slave cylinder so may be the cure. Will be checking out those mounts in the mean time.
