piping is different on the tddi to the tdci. the ic should fit though
Hi,
I swapped my TDCI intercooler wiht a TDDI intercooler.
One thing I can see as a difference is the thread-like contact on the TDCI one.
This makes the Piping fit very well on the TDCI one.
The older TDDI ones have a plain smooth surface.
This makes the piping to come off (if the clips are not tightening so hard).
Is it recommended to even fit a TDDI intercooler on a TDCI piping ?
Is there some sealing substance required with older TDDI intercooler to keep the contact from slipping?
