timing belt tensioner

ive got about 125000 kms on a 2004 tdci 130 wondering when the timing tensioner needs checking or is this a case of not broke dont touch or get it checked just in case?

Im not sure when/if the tensioner needs replacing,but the engine is chain driven not belt :)
