i have a mk2 2l lx just wondering the car revs seem to be up and down then when it settles it idles at about 1200 to 1500 revs what could cause this and is there any way of changing the revs or with it been electonic is it a garage job.thanks

Sounds like either an air leak or a problem with the ISCV
